Her areas of specialty include: how to deal with your painful emotions and rebuild your life after divorce, divorce mediation, collaborative divorce coaching, conflict resolution, co-parenting, parenting plans, step-parenting, and helping individuals achieve successful post-divorce relationships.
Barb trained as a ‘co-active’ coach at the Institute of Life Coach Training and went on to specialize in Divorce Coaching, training under “America’s leading Divorce Coach”, Susan Allen. She has also received training in Interdisciplinary Approach to Collaborative Practice and in Family and Divorce Mediation. Barb is a member of the International Coach Federation and a founding member of the Edmonton Association of Professional Coaches. She designed a 10-week workshop for “Healing the Broken Heart and Transforming Your Life” based on the work of world-renowned family therapist, Dr. Bruce Fisher’s Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends. Barb also leads workshops and seminars for people who are serious about taking charge of their life and want to navigate through and beyond their divorce experience with the least amount of damage and their dignity intact.
Having gone through a divorce herself, she is passionate about helping people understand and manage the complicated emotional issues that divorcing individuals often face.
Barb believes that we are capable of far more than we give ourselves credit for and she is committed to showing men and women how they can not only survive their divorce, but also move forward to thrive and flourish, even re-invent themselves.
Divorce is a time of crisis and it is a difficult time to make good decisions. The most frustrating aspect of divorce is not knowing your options nor how to get through the emotional aspects during and after divorce. Barb can help you identify your goals and priorities and guide you in the right direction to find more harmony and satisfaction in your life. Here’s your opportunity to ask her all your questions about coping with divorce.
Coach Barb is always happy to answer your questions related to divorce and relationships. Although she tries to answer each question personally, she also tries to find similar questions to share with the community.
Barb can be contacted at (780) 436 9541 or by email at info@edmontondivorcesolutions.com

[ back to top of page ]People often become what they believe themselves to be. When I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. When I believe I can, I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn’t have it in the beginning.
